It has been another difficult week to be a person existing on earth – a condition only worsened by also existing on the internet.
My work here has historically been focused on mental health and its impact on the rest of our lives. Like many of you, my personal mental health has taken a massive blow over the last week. To feel that way while also engaging with social media has kept me in a near constant cycle of sadness, outrage, fear, guilt and shame.
And these are all emotions that prey on our ability to make sound decisions – including financially.
While I've chosen to keep the majority of my processing offline, I feel it’s my responsibility to explain to you, my Debt Heads audience, how my feelings of sadness and helplessness have impacted my spending behavior.
