Now I have somewhere to sit & apply to jobs :)
Well, it only took me a month of being back, but I finally feel like I’m in a routine after my month-long trip away. I honestly had no idea it would take that long. What I’ve learned about myself after living out of a suitcase for 30 days is that maybe my mental health can’t really handle living out of a suitcase for 30 days. I had built a really solid routine for myself in advance of going away, and while I wouldn’t trade the experience I had traveling both by myself and with friends and family, I am sort of realizing that I’m not really as much of fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants girl as I thought. Or at least, only to an extent.
Having said that, this was the first week I felt like I was in a groove: with my workout routine, with the foods I’m choosing to put into my body, with my spending and with remembering what it looks like to really take care of myself (aka not spend a lot of money). I am proud to say this was one of my least expensive weeks in a long time, which also has to do with the fact that I… need money!
