Hello!
I like to think that my debt repayment / content / life plans are rife with strategy and spreadsheets (well, there’s at least one spreadsheet, hi Tiller).
But other than that, it sort of goes like this:
You know what would be fun? If I try not to spend any money for a whole week, starting tomorrow. And then I just… try to do it. Sometimes it works out. Other times it decidedly does not.
I am thrilled to report that this specific experiment, this week, fell closer to the side of success.
It worked, in part, due to the foresight I had to buy groceries on Sunday and meal prep a few things for the week. I also found a few loopholes to jump through during this totally made up endeavor enforced only by me with very low stakes.
In any event, this was the least amount of money I’ve spent in a while, and I think it’s worth sharing how I swung it.
